Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware in collaboration with George R.R. Martin, presents a massive, open-world action RPG where players explore the Lands Between, a realm left in chaos after the shattering of the Elden Ring. The campaign involves quests, exploration, combat, and interactions with various NPCs to restore or change the fate of the world.

Character Creation

Choose from several classes that dictate your starting stats, equipment, and playstyle. Each class caters to different combat styles like melee, magic, or a mix.

Exploration

Limgrave: Begin here, where you'll find introductory areas, side quests, and the first major boss, Margit, the Fell Omen, leading to Stormveil Castle and Godrick the Grafted.

Liurnia of the Lakes: Proceed here for the Academy of Raya Lucaria, where you'll fight Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon.

Caelid: Optional but contains essential bosses like Starscourge Radahn.

Altus Plateau and Leyndell, Royal Capital: Access after defeating two Shardbearers. Here you'll find Morgott, the Omen King.

Mountaintops of the Giants: Leads to the Fire Giant and eventually to the Crumbling Farum Azula.

Consecrated Snowfield and Haligtree: Optional areas but necessary for certain quests and to face Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

Bosses

Mandatory Bosses: Margit, Godrick, Rennala, Morgott, Fire Giant, Maliketh, and the final bosses, Radagon and Elden Beast.

Optional Bosses: Include challenging encounters like Malenia, which are not required for story progression but offer significant challenges and rewards.

Questlines

Main Quests: Involve collecting Great Runes from demigods to access the Elden Throne.

NPC Quests: Engage with characters like Ranni, Fia, and others for unique storylines, rewards, and alternative endings.

Progression Tips Gameplay Tips

Leveling Up: Defeat enemies and bosses to gather runes, which can be used to level up at Sites of Grace.

Gear Upgrades: Utilize Smithing Stones for weapons, which can be found in mines or as rewards from bosses.

Exploration: Use the guidance of grace (golden trails) as a hint for where to go next, but feel free to explore side areas for valuable loot and experience.

Crafting: Early on, acquire the Crafting Kit to make items that can aid in combat or exploration.

Co-op and Multiplayer

Use items like the Furlcalling Finger Remedy to summon help for bosses or place your own sign to help others. Co-op in Elden Ring is limited to specific conditions but enhances the gameplay experience.

Endings

Elden Ring offers multiple endings based on player choices, particularly in how they handle the culmination of various NPC questlines and interactions with key characters like Melina.
