In Zenless Zone Zero, "Dazing" and "Stunning" enemies are core mechanics that can significantly enhance your combat effectiveness. Here's how to achieve both:
Building Up Daze:
•Attacks: Continually attacking an enemy with Basic Attacks, Special Attacks, and EX Special Attacks will fill up their Daze Gauge, which is visible below their health bar. The Daze Gauge fills up and turns yellow as you attack, and once it reaches 100%, the enemy becomes stunned. 
•Impact Stat: Characters with higher Impact stats will build up the Daze Gauge more effectively. Characters like Anby Demara, Koleda Belobog, and Von Lycaon are known for their high Impact, making them excellent choices for quickly filling the Daze Gauge.
•Stun Characters: Utilize characters with the Stun specialty as they excel at accumulating Daze. Their skills and passive abilities are designed to increase the Daze buildup, making them crucial for any team composition aiming to stun enemies frequently.
Stunning Enemies:
•Timing: When the Daze Gauge is full, the enemy becomes stunned, which means they are immobilized and take increased damage. This is your window to deal significant damage.
•Chain Attacks: Once an enemy is stunned, hitting them with a heavy attack (like a Special Attack or EX Special Attack) can trigger a Chain Attack. Chain Attacks allow you to switch between your party members for combo attacks that deal massive damage. You have a short window (indicated by a countdown bar) to select which character will perform the Chain Attack.
•Strategic Use of Skills: Use your EX Special Attacks or Ultimates while enemies are stunned. These are your strongest moves and will maximize the damage output during the enemy's stunned state. Also, chain your attacks wisely, as you can perform multiple Chain Attacks on stronger enemies like elites or bosses.
Additional Tips:
•Character Rotation: Switch between characters to utilize their unique abilities. Stun characters should be used to build Daze, while Attack or Anomaly characters can capitalize on the stunned state to deal damage or apply debuffs.
•Perfect Dodge and Assist: Using Perfect Dodges or Defensive Assists can also contribute to building Daze, especially when followed up by an Assist Follow-Up attack. These mechanics not only help in avoiding damage but also in setting up for stunning enemies more efficiently.
•Equipment: Equip your characters with W-Engines and Drive Discs that enhance Impact or provide bonuses to Daze accumulation. This can significantly boost your team's ability to stun enemies quickly.
